Last week I was hanging out at Hotel Utah for their open mic - it's been rated the best in the Bay Area for the past 3 years straight! It was 'Cover Your Friend's Song' night, and they recorded all of the performances. Click the link below to hear the live recordings:

The first song is "Falling Apart" by Ryan Flick, who I met while living in Denver. He's a great singer/songwriter with a straight-ahead 'tell it like it is' attitude. Check out more of his music on Myspace.

The second song is "Cry" by Rossana. She's a soulful singer/songwriter from LA who just moved up here. I'm accompanying her on trumpet, letting her do all the singing and guitar playing. If you like what you hear, check out her website for more info.
